Greentree School and the community of Drumheller recognizes the value of breakfast for the proper growth, development, and functioning of our students.
Any student who wishes to have some nutrition at the start of the day is encouraged to take advantage of our breakfast program by eating the various items teachers keep stocked in their classrooms. At times, volunteers come to the school to prepare a special breakfast such as eggs, pancakes, or yogurt parfaits.
Around 100 students each day enjoy a nutritious breakfast prepared by our wonderful volunteers. Donations provided by the incredibly generous individuals and businesses of our community help with the purchase of food and items to feed these students (to learn more about our Breakfast Program Sponsors, please contact a School Council representative).
