Operation Christmas Child

We are still accepting donations for our Operation Christmas Shoe Boxes. Last day for donations is November 18th.

Here are some suggestions.

Operation Christmas Child Donation Ideas

School Supplies:

  • Items such as pencils, pens, pencil crayons, note pads, and picture books

Toys and Other Gifts:

  • Items such as: stuffed animals, small musical instruments, hair clips, toy jewelry, t-shirts, socks, and candy (loose, individually wrapped, hard candy in a sealable bag)

Hygiene Items:

  • Items such as: facecloth, toothbrush, comb, and soap.  Please place soap in a sealable bag

Money Donation:

  • Cash or cheque of various amounts to Samaritans Purse
  • A minimum of $7 is needed to send each shoebox

Please do not send:

  • Toothpaste (due to custom regulations)
  • Food or candy
  • Gum (due to custom regulations)
  • Used items
  • Decks of standard playing cards
  • Liquids  or items that might leak, freeze, melt, or break (shampoo, creams, lip balms, bath gels, mirrors, or glass)
  • Items that could scare or harm children (war-related toys, knives, and toy guns, etc)
