Each month students are awarded certificates for demonstrating the virtues at school. They receive a certificate and pencil at the monthly assembly. Pictures of the virtue recipients are posted on the bulletin board and in the local newspaper.
Every year, a student, group of students or class is nominated for the Chase Savoie Caring Community Award for outstanding community involvement.
In June, award ceremonies and celebrations are organized by individual teachers in each grade. In the upper elementary, medals are given to students who demonstrate high achievement in the different subject areas. Plaques are also given to students for greatest effort, highest achievement and most improved.
Male and Female Athletes of the Year
A male and female student in grades four through six is awarded for demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship, skill and leadership in the area of Physical Education.
Anne Morgan Excellence in Fine Arts
A student in grade six who demonstrates excellence in the area of fine arts either band, art or drama is presented this award.
